Art Devlin Statue |

On June 13th 2008 a life-size bronze statue of Art was placed at the bottom of the 120-meter Ski Jump to honor Art’s life and accomplishments. About one hundred people turned out for the dedication ceremony. Town supervisor Robi Politi was Master of Ceremonies followed by Ted Blazer CEO of ORDA, Jay Rand representing the jumping committee, Art Devlin Jr. representing the family and Rob Eccleston, the sculptor. The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of the statue and Colin Delaney of Lake Placid giving a salutatory jump off the 90-meter jump.
